Illuminated Willow. The Salix Alba can be found all over the world. Every spring these willows get pruned. The Salix Alba grows so fast that it provides a huge amount of branches, which are normally considered as trash.  With these branches I designed a lamp. I focussed on the decorative value of the branches in my design, where the branches are mostly used as a constructive material. I got inspired by the way the branches of the Salix Alba leave a shadow on the water. The shadows of the lamp make a graphic pattern which is spread all across the room.
