Zip It
Na een bezoek aan het textielmuseum in Tilburg viel het mij op dat textiel vooral wordt gebruikt voor 2D toepassingen. Ik wilde een manier vinden waarop ik textiel 3D kon maken, maar waarbij het textiel ook weer terug kon naar zijn 2D vorm. Dit omdat dit makkelijker is bij het vervoer en het opbergen van het product. Bij de ZIP IT tas is dit door middel van ritsen mogelijk gemaakt.
After visiting the Textile Museum in Tilburg, I noticed that textile is mostly used for 2D products. I wanted to find a way to make textile 3D, but where the textile could also return to its 2D form. This because it is easier to transport and store the product when it is 2D. The ZIP IT bag can be used like this by means of a zipper.
